Circular – The inclusion of short-term and extended capacity-building programmes for teachers

The University has decided to approve the inclusion of short-term and extended capacity-building programmes for teachers ranging from one week to one month such as Induction/ Orientation Programmes, FDP, Refresher courses, etc. as well as Seminars, Workshops in different pedagogic and discipline-specific areas being conducted by Centres such as Schools of Education (SoEs), Teaching Learning Centres (TLCs), Faculty Development Centres (FDCs), Centres for Excellence in Science and Mathematics (CESMEs), Centres for Academic Leadership and Education Management (CALEMs) Programmes organised under the Pandit Mandan Mohan Malviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT) Scheme for the fulfilment of the requirements specified in the Career Advancement Scheme of the University Grants Commission (UGC), which are outlined in the relevant Statutes of Goa University.
