Mr. Christie Fernandes (TYBA), Ms. Kimberly Vales (SYBA) won the 2nd place at Lit Star 3.0 state level quiz organised by Rosary College, Navelim on 13th March, 2025 Ms. Simran Shaikh secured the Second place for the Oral Presentation of B.Sc dissertation work at the 17th Annual T.Y.BSc. Symposium, Fascinating World of Chemical Sciences, held at School of Chemical Sciences, Goa University on 8th March 2025. State Level Chemistry Symposium on ‘Current Trends in Chemical Sciences’ organised by P. E. S.’s R. S. N. College of Arts and Science, Ponda-Goa on 7th March 2025. Cdt. Radhika Rathod of 1 Goa Girls Battalion NCC from St. Xavier’s College was felicitated at Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula, on 7th March 2025 Actizens Collective of Desh Apnayen Project SUO Vedant Chandekar, 1 Goa BN NCC unit was felicitated at Raj Bhavan by Governor of Goa Shri. Sreedharan Pillai for participating in the Republic Day Parade 2025 at New Delhi on 7th March 2025 Runner’s Up at Insignia 9.0, a National-Level Intercollegiate Event organized by the Department of Commerce, Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim on 28th February 2025. Ms. Michele Barreto and Mr. Sudhanshu Harlankar from SYBSc, secured the 3rd place at the Intercollegiate Oral Presentation Competition on Science Experiential Learning in Konkani at Ganpat Parsekar College of Education, Harmal, on the occasion of National Science Day. Runners-up at Ebullience 6.0 2025 organised by DCT’S Dhempe College of Arts & Science, Miramar. Goa University Inter-College Volleyball 2024-25 Champions Richa Gawade (TYBA) was awarded the Best Player of the Tournament. The Women’s and Men’s Teams Secure Runners-Up Position at the All-Goa Intercollegiate Basketball Tournament 2024-25, hosted by Goa University. St. Xavier’s College Secures Runner-Up Position at the 2nd Parrikar National Policy Hackathon 2025! Ashwin Naik, Sherlyn Lobo, and Kajal Vernekar from FYBA secured first place in the State-level Competition – ‘Gram Vikas Manthan: Our Village, Our Plan!’ organized by the Department of Political Science, Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Khandola, on 24th February 2025. St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa won the overall Championship at State level Intercollegiate Cultural Event “Meteora” organised by Don Bosco College, Panjim on the 14th and 15th of February 2025. Ms. Astrid D’Mello and Mr. Omkar Karpe, students of the Department of Economics, were declared Runners Up at the All Goa Inter-Collegiate Quiz ‘Battle of Brains 3.0’ organized by Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim on 15th February 2025. Ms. Saniya Sandesh Kovtankar, a T.Y.BSc student from the Department of Chemistry (Academic Year 2023-2024), was honoured for being a topper at the TYBSc Examination in Chemistry. She was felicitated during the Valedictory function of the 22nd Annual Convention cum Workshop of the Association of Chemistry Teachers (ACT-Goa), held on 8th February 2025 at Goa University. Department of Sociology, Winners of Sociofiesta, an Intercollegiate Competition organised by Chowgule College, Margao. Ms.Poonam Palyekar (SYBA) and Ms.Kashish Mandrekar (SYBA) won the First Place at the State Level Model Making Competition on the theme “Viksit Bharat @ 2047: Innovative Solutions for a Sustainable Future”, organized by Dhempo College of Commerce and Economics, on 28th January 2025. Our Men’s and Women’s teams have emerged victorious at the Goa University Intercollegiate Handball Tournament 2024-25. Gautami Talekar was awarded a Gold medal in Kumite Weight category -50kg at the 14th National Shotokan Karate Championship 2025 held at Gujarat. Tanisha Murgod completed Ironman 70.3 on 9th position amongst 44 teams. Shalil Arolkar was awarded 2nd place at the Intercollegiate Mr. Goa 2024 Bodybuilding Championship. Saish Shetkar and Yash Narvekar clinched Gold Medals, while Vedant Morje secured the Silver Medal at the 2nd All Goa Powerlifting (Deadlift) Championship. Mr. Satyam Singh and Mr. Deepankar Padloskar from TYBA Political Science secured the 2nd place in the State-Level Quiz Competition on the theme “Indian Constitution” held on 24th January, 2025 at V.M. Salgaocar College of Law in association with DHE. Winners at “Technotronics” organised by DM’S College, Assagao on 24th January, 2025 Runners up at “Colossus” organised by Don Bosco College, Panjim on 21st and 22nd January, 2025. Ms. Ayushi Nemlekar and Ms. Siya Varkhandar of FYBSc won the First place at Postal Stamp Making competition Runners-up of the inter-collegiate event Politika organised by Dhempe College of Arts & Science, Miramar, on January 10, 2025
