Choosing a college was one of those decisions that quietly shaped everything that followed, and looking back, I know I got it right with St. Xavier’s College. It wasn’t just a place where I studied, but where I discovered who I was and who I wanted to become. Xavier’s constantly challenged me to think differently, broadened my perspectives, and helped me grow into a more confident version of myself. What truly made this journey stand out was the Department of Economics. More than just an academic space, it was an environment that sparked curiosity, encouraged critical thinking, and deepened my understanding of the world around me.

As a student, what stood out most was the department’s ability to blend theory with real-world application. The course challenged us, encouraging us to question, analyze, and form independent perspectives on global and local economic issues.

One of the highlights of my achievements was project, researching real-world issues. It was not just about finding answers, but about asking the right questions. The project gave me practical exposure that textbooks alone never could. The faculty members were the cornerstone of my experience. Their role extended far beyond teaching. They mentored and inspired me to push boundaries, and their approachable nature created a learning environment that was both supportive and stimulating.

Looking back, Xavier’s was more than just a chapter; it was a foundation. It shaped the way I think and gave me experiences I will carry with me always.
